I got the car kit back in christmas 2005 for my long commute to work. It worked but the suction cup thing that goes on the wind shield never stuck properly. If it got too cold or hot it would fall off. You have to somehow twist a knob on the side of it to loosen the suction cup and then after sticking it to the wind shield twist the knob back to tighten the suction. This only works for a short amount of time.Eventually i just took some Coke a cola and put it on the suction cup and it has stayed for 3 months now without falling off. Everything else is great if you dont mind a few wires hanging around. I would definitly get sirius installed in you vehicle if you want to avoid the hassle of hooking it up every day.

I only recommend this for lack of options.

Review

I've used this compact antenna for years in a small apartment in NYC where signals bounce between the buildings and often cause an echo effect. It has worked very well. I do not use this for AM reception; I unplug it when listening to AM radio and use a passive TERK AM Advantage antenna, which I cannot recommend too strongly. Also, I've never tried to listen to an FM station farther away than Newark, NJ, so I'm not sure whether this antenna is really an improvement over the older TERK model it replaced, but there's no comparison between it and the T-shaped wire that came with the tuner. The sound is clear and static free, even during storms. I will admit that it is a bit of a chore to adjust the pin-dots every time a radio station on a different part of the dial is selected, though..

This six way speaker selection is awsesome. We purchased it for the three sets of speakers we have in our home. It came at a good price and is stylish and fits nicely on my home entertainment unit. I really am pleased with this speaker selector.

The nile speaker selector allows you to connect multiple pairs of your speakers to your stereo receiver or amplifier and play any pair, any combination of pairs, or all pairs simultaneously. It really is a very good selector to have. At first I was slightly worried about overloading the amplifier but after reading the manual it said that SS-6 has a protection circuit that keeps your amplifier running safely, even if you have all pairs of speakers playing at the same time so I was very pleased.

The nile speaker selector volume control on your amplifier serves as the "master" volume for all the speaker pairs connected. The volume level of the speakers will vary from room to room. This has happened in my house .This is caused by several factors really. Two lesser factors are the size of the speaker and its efficiency. The largest factor is the physical size of your room.The best way to balance your speaker volume is to equip each of the speaker pairs in your system with a Niles volume control. The controls allow you to adjust the volume of each speaker pair individually. If all the speaker pairs in your system are equipped with Niles volume controls, you can leave the amplifier or receiver volume set at one position and use the Niles controls exclusively. I would recommend using these. Power handling of this unit is 100 watts per channel RMS .

I really like this speaker selector and would recommend it anyone.

Garmin now offers an XM smart antenna that receives and delivers XM radio stations, NavTraffic and Weather services to your Garmin device named the Garmin GXM 30. The antenna comes with the flange mount and an USB extension cable for your connection to your device. The antenna receiver is approximately three inches in diameter and weighs way less than one pound. The Garmin GXM 30 reives and processes all XM content and then sends this content to your Garmin device for display.Now of course, this does not mean that you won't need the XM Satellite subscription - you still have to pay your monthly dues to actually receive and listen to XM Radio. When receiving content from NavTraffic the information you receive will depend and correlate with the location you are located in. So, if you're in NY city you will receive information on the traffic in your local area. The only time you won't receive information from NavTraffic is if you are in a city that is not covered by XM's NavTraffic. There are 18 presets for your favorite stations to be saved and easily accessable. The antenna also has a nice display of the XM radio channels you are listening to.

The units that the Garmin GXM 30 antenna is compatable with is the Garmin GPSMAP 376C. The antenna also is included with the purchase of the Garmin StreetPilot 2730 GPS. I also know that this item works with Kenwood DVD/NAV combo unit.

You'll find this item selling for approximately $200 but originally it sold for a little under $270. Now are you asking why would I pay this much when you can purchase other XM antennas for less?? It's all about the Smart features. NavTraffic alone is an awesome feature when you're stuck in traffic or need to get to a meeting on time - and it's yours for $4 a month and this antenna. NavTraffic also offers the weather for your area so you know when it's going to rain so you remember to shut your car windows or when you need look out for a tornado coming your way! :)

Great sound quality. When I first used the Monster iCarPlay Wireless I was amazed with the sound transfer from the radio to the car stereo. There was no static interference and it sounded like I was playing an actual CD. An important feature that I found to be convenient is that you can tune into a station in your area that works, there isn't set stations that it works on. Very simple to use; the size is perfect for travel and want be a distraction in the vehicle. With having a lot of friends in my vehicle all the time, the iCarPlay is very durable and can take good tossing around. Overall I think that if you have an iPod and a car then this is the perfect accessory with its outstanding sound quality and simplicity.

Minidisc recorders are one of the greatest invention ever created, Its so unfortunate that CD burners have caused this products popularity to dwindle. You can do so much more with a minidisc than a cd burner. Erase songs now or 10 years from now, rearrange tracks, give specific track numbers to certain songs. there;s virtually no limit to what you can do. None of this can you do with a burner, expect erase a track, and with most you can erase the last track you recerded and you must have cd-rw to do that, and with those, the quality with minidisc, quality is always 100%. I can't believe all these feature, the minidisc has succome to the limited ability of the cd burner. Unfortunatly, minidisc recorders are very hard to find these days, A lot of stores have stopped carrying them altogether, and goodluck finding a place that will work on them should you ever need it. this is also easy to use. i have had this minidisc recorder for about three years. don't let this product fade away like so many others great products.I urge you, buy the best, the minidisc recorder, lets put this product back on top and drive away

I am impressed by the quality of this MD system. Recording is a breeze, from both a digital and an analog input. The compulink features makes synchronous recording easy (if you have another JVS component). The qwerty keyboard type remote makes titling really easy. This unit has all the features that any standard minidisc recorder would have (join,move,erase one track, erase all...etc). Although the analog RCA output is slightly weak, its positive features makes up for it. It looks stylish, and blends well with other units. The display has a bright / dim and an off mode.excellent piece for a good price.Rocking piece.. no doubt about this features they are absolutely awesome...you can blindly but it...trust my wrds..... :- )..i am not markenting agent of this company but a user as u ..

This is a very nice minidisc recorder. It has several different features that are really nice to have. It has a nice remote that comes with it as well. It plays really good after you record what you are wanting to record. It is not too big and is nice to own. It can do many things. It hasa very nice sound thatcomes out so clear with out any kind of static. You can make it go up pretty loud as well. It has a nice design on the front with all of its buttons. It is not hard to install and is a great value. The recording quality is very good. I have never had any kinds of problems out of this product. It is very nice and I would recommend.

The pros are fairly obvious: space saving, great look, no cumbersome wiring, the surround effect is clearly separated, AND it is NOT dependent on room configuration.Additional pro is the sound quality: Mid range is wonderful, jazz and vocal sounds have the fullness you'd expect from Polk Audio. Treble is crisp without breaking. All-in-all, the sound is sufficiently top-notch even for someone who appreciates good sound systems (except for some of you serious audiophiles). Another pro is the speakers are strong enough to handle enough power for a sizable room, say a 20x20 room.

They are very easy to hook up and the bass on them is not staticy suprisingly for how small they are. I have them hooked up to my big screen tv and they make the surround sound a lot better than normally. They can come into different colors and the design is very unique. I would deff recommend these speakers to anyone who loves music and loves to listen to sounds. The M-Audio Studiophile AV 30 is worth your time and money. It is very easy to connect these speakers. It actually produces great sound quality. It has very attractive design and it is very compact. I would recommend this to a friend because of ease of use and of the good sound quality being produced. These are the speakers that would allow everyone to easily have music on deck. These serve that purpose. It is not hard to hook up and use. If you price checked several wireless outdoor speakers, this product seems to be a good value. I am not sure if they are really resilient or durable enough to be considered "outdoor" but they are all right to have outside if you carry them in when you are done. Just so you know, they cannot also be mounted.

I did a little research before buying food in this model. This unit seems fairly well built and has a pleasing appearance. I was a little boring in terms of cost of $ 500 - $ 1000 on a new plate and is not sure whether all the stories is really necessary.

The panel takes just minutes to prepare and has a poor preparation mounted moving magnet cartridge.

After introduced, I went to the phono amplifier built and connected to the device directly to my receiver. The sound is not bad, but still was exactly what I had expected. Tire noise is fairly high, low and lower middle class is a bit muddy and exploded, and the high sounded a little out. Then at the plate to help me 20 years old, Onkyo receiver in my office with a phono preamp, and I have noticed an improvement in sound quality. This is still not happy with her about the unit, which is in the details. I thought that the cartridge can be a little lame, I AUDIO TECHNICA 440MLA elected and installed.

After the installation and adjustment of 440MLA, the more output from the cartridge, I noticed an immediate improvement in the quality - but also a zoom background that the increase that the needle is moving in the registry. More research has shown that the engine or power is on the plate, not well protected, and the cartridge was large enough to collect interference from electromagnetic fields. I did not want to through the opening in the table to try to tackle the issue through the installation of cables and ropes from the ground or for the protection of transformers. I installed the old cartridge, and ensures that the buzz is always there, but I was off the coast of the surface or the noise with a smaller cartridge. There was an agreement to break for me. I had back.

Another important point is that I found that the record is not very well insulated. Every little bump or press the table was painfully clear. I could see how it could cause problems in moderate volume.

If you are looking for a good player with a good bad, the good seems to be thought through, although I think it might be for you. It is certainly more cheaply built units. If you main concern is the quality, I fear that you may keep at least a few additional one hundred U.S. dollars on a disk to verify and heaviest. Mine is on his way back, and once again is for this purpose.

Good news for many,here comes a wonder product ,in size dimensions of 21x7x16 inches,which can convert LP formats to digital formats. This is an LP to digital conversion device. It can be connected to your PC ,so that you can easily create CD & MP3 and move your all time old favorite classics to digital. Although everything sounds good,A friend complained that the device didn't turn on in the first try, even after all the instructions and steps mentioned were rightly followed. It could possibly be that the instructions for setting up and running the system are not so easy to follow,as most people I know faced a similar kind of problem and succeeded in making the device work after several attempts..

Are you still aching to listen to some old classics that you have on vinyl? And transfer the music on those vinyls to CD or your Ipod? Well Sony's LX 300 USB Turntable will allow you to do both! When purchasing this turntable you also acquire Audio Studio software that you can use to import the music from your vinyls to your computer. The music can then be stored as MP3's and transferred into a portable music player or save it to a CD to be played in your car or any CD player. The turntable has a USB outlet that you can connect to your computer for the transfer. If you just want to listen to your vinyls you can do that as well as it is a fully functioning turntable.

The audio transferred from vinyls is of high sound quality when on CD and does not incorporate any of the annoying sounds that usually are heard when playing turntables. When recording vinyls to your computer, make sure to choose the option Vinyl Recording instead of simply Record. Vinyl Recording allows you to listen to the audio while recording where as Record does not. Overall the turntable is quite easy to use and the software is quick to install. The software is fairly intuitive so it doesn't take much to learn to use. Keep in mind that this turntable only works on PC's and is not compatable with Mac's. I don't know this from experience but have found out from others. The quality of the turntable is ok, as it is made of plastic and seems a little cheap but it does do the job.

The turntable is made mainly of plastic and is not heavy at all, weighing in at about 6 pounds. It comes in black and doesn't really have any interesting features that capture the attention. The dimensions are 13.5 x 15.7 x 3.9 inches.

Review

Over the past month, we've been putting the latest AV receivers from Yamaha, and Pioneer through their paces. All seemed quiet on the Sony front until they visited our Tedd Q recently and dropped off a sample of the -DG820. As befits its price tag, the Sony has the look of a budget receiver with its old-school silver chassis. Build quality is decent enough: the fascia has a mixture of polished buttons and knobs including an input selector and volume control. The unit's remote control will be familiar to some - it features styling similar to the remotes that come with Sony's W Series of LCD TVs. Before we get stuck into how the sounds, it's worth noting that Sony went back to the drawing board for its whole 2008 receiver range. And the Japanese giant has introduced various new features that, it claims, help improve performance. For starters, the chassis of the has been strengthened and embossed in certain places to help control any nuisance vibrations and their effect on the key video/audio components found at the rear of the receiver.

The Yamaha RX-V863 7.2 Channel Home Theater Receiver has power, up-to-date features, and an abundance of connectivity options. This receiver also offers excellent audio performance, bolstered by TrueHD and DTS-HD processing.

On the video side, the RX-V863 has three HDMI inputs with 1080p pass-through and analog to HDMI video conversion and upscaling. However, the quality of the video conversion and upscaling falls a little short.

On the other hand, other bonuses to consider are the inclusion of iPOD and Bluetooth connectivity, HD Radio access, as well as two subwoofer outputs

Review

I was initially searching for an audio processor for my 5.1 surround sound speaker system when I saw this attractive Sony receiver unit. Initially, it appeared out of my price range, but on further inspection, I found out that it was a full high-definition video processor as well, that will upscale movies to 1080 dpi as well is offering 7.1 Dolby Digital surround with 110 W per channel. A quick demo of this model, and I was sold on it.

The graphical user interface on this unit is exceptional and features loads of ports, and full HDMI capability. It is very robust and rather weighty, but the weight should be no consideration because you're not exactly going to use it as a portable device. By all means, road tests other receivers, but I am sure you will come back to this one. It is great value for money.

I have always been a big fan of Bose's products and this is no exception.I have this in our living room and the sound quality it gives is just amazing. Even at low volumes the sound quality is very good. Some other amplifiers I had in the past were not that good at low volumes and the quality of the sound was pretty bad but this amplifier, I am very pleased with it. At high volumes this amplifier is very good also, the power it gives out to the speakers is just incredible.

This device is very easy to hook up, everything is pretty much right there in front of you. If you have never hooked up an amplifier and you have no idea what you are doing, the amplifier comes with a manual that will show you how to hook this up and how to use the controllers on it. I recommend this amplifier to anyone that likes their music at high volumes and even at low because you will get the same quality of sound at both volumes.

For a part sound Onkyo M-282 enough for improve your speaker. This is a very good entry level amp. It can be a bit bright but the gain can be adjusted to minimize the excess brightness. It doesn't run too hot like other amps I've had and it has a very clean and basic look on the front panel. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase and would buy more, if I needed them and didn't want to spend the money on other very high end amps.
But there something poor for this product The Onkyos have distortion in any sort of upper-range piano notes, and some in strings. Note that this is a moderate and low volumes. This is a design flaw in the amp, this painful built-in distortion.

This is a brand new device for me, I learn it when see Squeezebox at store. Squeezebox lets you play your digital music through your stereo system using your wireless or ethernet network. We can also listen to Internet radio stations, set alarms,
display RSS feeds, and even more!

The squeezebox comprises a wired or wireless receiver box that connects to a set of speakers or a sound system. With wireless remote controller to lets you activate the receiver, access music, and adjust settings. You can also expanding this system to another rooms by purchasing additional receivers.

Setting process is easy, you just turn on the system with remote, hook up the receiver to speakers or your sound system, then you pair the remote controller to the receiver and your wireless network. The controller will automatically ask you to enter your password if your network use WEP or WPA security.The next step is to pair the controller with your computer on your network. At this step, you should install SqueezeCenter software on your PC and point the music files folder.Navigate with the controller is just like navigate iPod, with scroll wheel and few other button. As the receiver has 2.4 inch color LCD to displays information and album art. With great menu system, everybody can use it well.

Final word, Squeezebox Duet worked extremely well, with easy and quick setup process. Anyone can use it well and more over this device less expensive. However the bad thing is this Squeezebox Duet will only work with Digital Rights Management (DRM) free music.

The Sony CMT is usable with other mp3s other than Sony. Looks good in any interior setup. You can also use this music System as a FM radio. The music system provides very sweet and soft sound s that one you can get the real test and entertainment of your favourite music. its probably one the best music systems i have owned so far. Sony CMT BX1 Micro system is a cheaper system for you. Maybe you will be suspicious about its sound quality; such low price can offer wonderful sound? At the beginning, I have the same doubt as you. But I am wrong; I mean I am totally wrong. It is not bad as its price, but in fact the low price is an advantage. I use this system to work with my 37 inch LCD TVs, and they are so march to each other. the sound quality is amaizing and the volume can up pretty loud.its probably one the best music systems i have owned so far.. this is the perfect party gadget. the sound is pretty clear even when the volume is turned up to the max. its easy to use and move around as it is light in weight. also its handy and can be put anywhere.

Advantages: faster writing and good playback
Disadvantages: not that easy to use

Philips CDR 765 comes with double disk placing trays.It is capable of playing the disks with greater efficiency and offers instant playback at the same time.It offers separate trays for the writable discs and has good recording capacities.It is a perfect recorder than our computer writes a disc and copies to the other.It plays with good stereo types of the sound and it has a remote control too.It is based on the latest infra red technology.
