Manufacturer's product description The CMTBX1 has elegant front-loading CD design that provides direct access to insert or replace CD's. It plays CD-R/RW discs burned from either a home recording deck or PC and will also decode and play back MP3 files that have been recorded onto a CD-R/RW disc. It has a speaker enclosure that includes a "tuned" port to increase and extend bass response by releasing some of the energy created by the inward movement of the woofer cone. The player will decode and play back MP3 files that have been recorded onto a CD-R/RW disc. This allows the customer to record hours of music from their PC onto a CD-R/RW disc. The PC/Audio In for Digital Music Players or PC's allows simple plug-and-play integration with a digital music player device or a PC via a 2.5mm jack. The CMTBX1 also has AM/FM Tuner with 30 presets which provide easy, accurate, drift-free tuning of the most listened to AM and FM ratio stations.

The Sony CMT is usable with other mp3s other than Sony. Looks good in any interior setup. You can also use this music System as a FM radio. The music system provides very sweet and soft sound s that one you can get the real test and entertainment of your favourite music. its probably one the best music systems i have owned so far. Sony CMT BX1 Micro system is a cheaper system for you. Maybe you will be suspicious about its sound quality; such low price can offer wonderful sound? At the beginning, I have the same doubt as you. But I am wrong; I mean I am totally wrong. It is not bad as its price, but in fact the low price is an advantage. I use this system to work with my 37 inch LCD TVs, and they are so march to each other. the sound quality is amaizing and the volume can up pretty loud.its probably one the best music systems i have owned so far.. this is the perfect party gadget. the sound is pretty clear even when the volume is turned up to the max. its easy to use and move around as it is light in weight. also its handy and can be put anywhere.
